The Wichita Public Library Foundation and the Friends of the Wichita Public Library joined forces for a Barnes & Noble Bookfair at the Barnes & Noble - Bradley Fair at 1920 N. Rock Rd. on Saturday, Oct. 23. A percentage of sales and purchases off a "wish list" table went to the Wichita Public Library. Library fans also enjoyed numerous special events.

2 p.m. Zora Neale Hurston Storytime with Jean Pouncil-Burton, founder of the Wichita Griots, sharing her favorite stories
2:30 p.m. An afternoon of acoustic folk music by Whittier (Dallas Owen, Calla Lomax, Andy Bowers and Mike Engdahl)
2–5 p.m.
